The Eleutherian Mills House: This is the first du Pont family home in America and it has been restored to look as it did when the family lived there in the early 1800s. Visitors can tour the house and see how the du Ponts lived during that time period.
The Machine Shop: This working machine shop was built in 1839 and it contains many of the original machines that were used by the du Ponts. Visitors can watch demonstrations of how these machines were used to make gunpowder and other products.
The Water-Powered Gristmill: This mill was built in 1795 and it is still operational today. Visitors can watch as wheat is ground into flour using water power.
